The main character of the movie shows different characteristics towards using the technology. Both Kevin Mitnick and Tsutomu Shimomura are genius and hackers. They hunt more information and seeking for more challenges. Mitnick use his ability in computer to have more money from others. Mitnick has its own reason in hacking information,codes and money from different organization like also Shimomura but as we all know hacking itself is wrong. They never uses the computer responsibly. Though Mitnick has that kind of intelligent but he does not use in a good way it's useless. He make money easily without working so hard. Maybe we can say also that he's fun of doing it. He never thought of consequences in all his action that's led him to prison and pay for penalties. All the things he has done is gone. Maybe also another reason why they have difference in dealing or using technology is from their society. Tsutomu Shimomura uses his ability in a right way. He help the FBI to keep on tracking Mitnick. Aside from that Shimomura is a wise hacker than Mitnick. Both programmer has its own way of hacking and of course they commit unethical doing towards using a computer . And the two of them has an accountability against the law in every things they have done. Even Shimomura doing good in helping the FBI to arrest Mitnick but the fact is, he is a hacker. The word itself is wrong or unethical use of computer. The end does not justify the means.
